ProMediaGear TRBU75 Half Ball Tripod Leveling Head overview
The ProMediaGear TRBU75 Half Ball Tripod Leveling Head is used to mount any flat base heads to a 75mm tripod bowl. It works with the ProMediaGear Bowl system. Plus, it is compatible with other brands.
This tripod level head works with any 75mm bowl adapter. In addition, it works with other tripods with a 75mm bowl. This means you are free to use any tripod that you have.
Using it is easy too. Just rotate the knob to loosen the half ball. Then, twist the other way to secure it in place.
If you need a bowl adapter, then you may purchase the ProMediaGear TRHH2 Hi-Hat. This Hi-hat comes with the TRBU75 leveling head. You can easily transform any tripod that you have. Compatibility is not an issue as it has a standard tripod mount.
Durability-wise, ProMediaGear uses T6061 Aluminum for this leveling head. It is lightweight, yet durable. The weight helps in keeping it as portable as possible.
Turely a must have for the GKJr or it’s big brother GK. Speed and ease of set up is a no brainer. Quality machined product, I expect nothing less from PMG. Good job boys! Only drawback we lost the bag hook... :)
Another great piece of equipment made by PMG. It makes leveling the head easy and holds well. Wish I would have gotten it soon. Thinking I need to order another one for my other tripod.
Best thing for landscape photography. I love it. I should bought long time ago! Very quick way to adjust the ball head!
What can I say? This is a very useful addition to my tripod, making it very quick to level my head. The small weight penalty is easily made up for with the utility gained and will remain on my 343L. It too, is a very well-designed and precisely machined product, like every other piece of PMG gear I own. It now has a permanent home on this tripod. Thanks again, PMG!
On the subject of the bag hook in another review: I will miss that somewhat. I wonder if PMG could come up with a collapsible/swing-out hook that could be screwed into one of the 3 holes in the tripod apex? Just a thought.
Absolutely love this gear!
