Overview

Each side of the cage features multiple mounting points, including ¼" and ⅜" threads with ARRI-standard locating holes, allowing you to attach a wide range of adapters and accessories. The 8Sinn cage is compatible with the original Canon C80 accessories thanks to the included grip adapter and dedicated mounting points for the microphone mount. The top of the cage also includes a cold shoe mount.

One side of the cage incorporates a built-in safety NATO rail with threaded openings along its length. The lens adapter support points allow you to attach the Evolution RF-to-PL lens adapter support or any other support that uses the same mounting-hole pattern. The cage secures to the camera using two screws on the bottom and one on the top.

The design is partially open to provide easier access to the camera’s controls, buttons, and grip while still maintaining structural strength. The C80 cage also comes with an HDMI and USB-C cable clamp to help prevent accidental cable disconnections.
