Overview

This ProMediaGear bracket plate is custom fitted forR5 and R6 body.The bracket plate can be mounted to ProMediaGear flash brackets or L-Brackets.

Since it is custom designed it fits like a glove perfectly matching the camera shape, it also provides anti-rotation so the plate won't slip or twist.

The plate has been machined from solid Aluminum T6061 block and has hard black anodized surface coating for scratch resistant finish.

The plate also features 1/4-20 threads for mounting other quick release plates or accessories.

Excellent product

Well made. Works well. I bought it together with the QDP1 - QD Quick Release Plug Connector, to connect to my camera strap. They work together perfectly.

R5/R6 Plate

Received product without the necessary locking pins. Thus the product was unusable. I called and the C/S person told me they would send them out. Never happened.
The catalog does not show the pins, nor indicated they were necessary for the plate to function with the boomerang bracket. Poor communications.

Canon R5 Tripod Plate

The PBCR56 tripod plate for my Canon R5 fits it like a glove. It doesn't slide or twist and gives me peace of mind that my equipment is secure. ProMediaGear has engineered this plate so I can add an L-bracket for an R5 with or without the battery grip. They've also incorporated the QD port in the plate and basically made it a plug-n-play unit for maximum flexibility. I'll have a ProMediaGear plate on any camera I get.
