Overview

The ProMediaGear 1/4"-20 Captive Thumbscrew is a handy accessory for photographers who use ProMediaGear brackets and plates.

It allows you to quickly and easily attach and detach your gear without needing any tools. Just twist the knurled grip and secure your bracket or plate in place.

This thumbscrew works with the Arca Swiss Type Bracket Clamp and the Flash Bracket Plate for Boomerang, among other compatible products.

However, be aware that this thumbscrew is not suitable for Arca-Swiss-type quick-release plates, as it will prevent them from locking properly.

For those situations, you will need to use the original Allen-type screws that come with your ProMediaGear equipment.
