Overview

The ProMediaGear VRC1K adjustable C-Cage features a half-cage design. It has an adjustable height and width to fit the majority of DSLR and mirrorless cameras in the market.

The camera is secured in place using a 1/4"-20 screw on the PBX3 Universal Arca Camera plate and a shoe mount stabilizer on the top plate.

The stabilizer position is adjustable from front to back so you can line it up with your camera's hot shoe.

Moreover, there are several accessory mounts on the top, side, and bottom.

This kit includes the VRH1 Nato rail handle, VRHex accessory mount, and CS2 cold shoe mounts.

Lastly, there is a CN30 NATO clamp for the side rail and a top-mounted mini NATO rail to mount the handle.

Incomplete

The cage itself is well-constructed, but does have some issues. First, it is not compatible with at least the EOS R battery grip base plate. Second, if used with any battery grip I have ever seen it will block the battery exit, so you have to take the whole thing off to get the battery out. Third, mine came without all the parts, but PMG did quickly send me the missing part. I did not receive the generic bottom plate, and looking at the description it isn't clear if that is included or not. I like some of the designs from PMG, but packing and compatibility (and full disclosure) seem to be issues. I hope they figure that part out as some of their pieces are very nice.
