ProMediaGear BH50c60 Ball Head Overview

The ProMediaGear BH50c60 ball head is one of the best tripod heads you can avail of today. It provides a rock-solid grip on your camera while providing smooth and precise movements.

ProMediaGear developed the BH50 ball head with an Arca-Type standard mount. The quick-release clamp works with any 60mm Arca-type quick release plates

Moreover, this tripod head is made of solid T6061 aluminum. Thus, it is tough and lightweight. At only 1.54 pounds, this tripod head is portable and easy to carry.

You can put it in a tripod carrying case. Also, it fits small to large camera bags easily.

This ProMediaGear ball head can be considered one of the best options for beginners and professionals alike. The large knobs are easy to use. Plus, it is smooth to adjust.

Using this head is straightforward. You mount it on your tripod. Attach your quick release plate to the clamp. That's it. You are good to go.

In addition, you may pan from left to right without any problems. The unique repositionable panning knob works at any position. You can have a comfortable work position without sacrificing panning quality.

Moreover, the BH50c60 mounts to any tripod with a standard 3/8-16" mount. Other features include bubble-level, and laser-engraved markings when shooting. The markings do not fade over time.

This tripod ball head moves freely from side to side. There are two drop slots that are perfect for shooting in a vertical position. But, it is highly advisable to grab a ProMediaGear L-bracket too.

Lastly, the ProMediaGear BH50c60 has a 5-year warranty. You may shop without worries as the company offers excellent customer support.

Such a good and strong ball head!

I've been using PMG for 4 years now and I really like to use their gear and this new head that hasn't been out for long is more you conventional style head but it still works mechanically without grease so means it won't lock up on you in extreme weather conditions, I put it in my freezer over night at -22 degrees celsius and it still functioned as normally when taken straight out.

Works just fine with a big camera setup on it as well, once you lock everything down it is very stable! If you need something really strong I recommend you look at the BH1 ball head as that is a tank

    The Best Of The Best

Such a perfect design. Thank you for enhancing my photography hobby.
The Ball rolling so smooth. The knob is also so smooth to the touch. Nothing to complain about. 10/10 👌

Great, well built solid ball head

The size and sturdiness of this ball head is a joy to work with. No matter the angle, the camera stays where I put it. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is the fact that the ball head is very stiff when I'm out in extreme cold. I do a fair amount of winter hiking in the Rocky Mountains. On those cold winter days, with all of the knobs loosened, I have to adjust my camera by grabbing the lens for leverage because of the stiffness of the ball. Maybe over time it will loosen up a bit. Otherwise, I really like this ball head.
