The perfect gimbal for big lens photography.

Photographing wildlife in early morning and late evening light demands rock solid support. This gimbal on a Pro Media Gear tripod is the best I’ve used in 20 years in the field. I liked it so much I bought 2 tripods (a 324 and a 424) and the Katana Pro Jr. as well so I could have a light rig for those longer hikes and a heavy duty rig for the short hikes and ultimate stability when using my 600 and 800 mm lenses. I own a few other gimbal heads, but these are the best.

Perfect gimbal in every way ! A real feat !

I am really very happy and more than satisfied with my purchase. Excellence at all levels ! Comfort of use, very high-end finish, irreproachable quality, smoothness and precision of the mechanisms. Everything is perfect ! The centering and balance of my equipment, the firmness of the safe tightenings, the absence of vibrations, the fluidity of the panoramics... The pinnacle ! BRAVO to the whole team for this marvel of engineering.

Katana Gimbal Head

It colors my world. I wish I had this head a long time ago. It's my first gimbal head and I will never leave home without it. The first time I've installed my Nikkor 500mm f/5.6 on it with my D-850, many other photographers came close to me and even give it a try. Thanks again!
