Overview

The most versatile pro camera strap in the world, the newly upgraded Slide can be worn as a sling, neck, or shoulder strap.

Internally-padded nylon webbing has a smooth side that glides over clothing in sling mode and a grippy side that prevents slipping in shoulder mode.

Dual quick-adjusters provide instant access and easy reconfiguration. Unique Anchor Link system connects quickly and dual points of connection keep your camera more stable than traditional sling straps. Shipped with updated V4 Anchors.

Updates include: new silicone grip, upgraded webbing, and lower profile strap/hardware transitions. Anchor connectors have been updated to be smaller, faster, and more secure. The strap has a width of 1.8" and is made of nylon webbing that is padded internally to help ensure comfortable use. Its two sides feature different properties: one side is smooth for sliding the camera to your eye when set up as a sling, while the other has a silicone grip that prevents slipping when using it on your neck or shoulder. The four included anchor points attach and detach from the strap with a single hand, and can be left on the eyelets so you can easily switch between cameras while shooting.

Nice

It’s a great strap . The width and length is perfect for someone my size of 5’8” . If I were taller or larger in stature I believe I’d want a longer strap. I wear my camera low on my hip . The quality it great

There When You Need It--Detached When You Don't

This strap is a welcome substitute for the stock camera straps I have grown to dislike. As the title says, it is easy to put on the camera when you have the anchors attached to your camera or device, and if you are in a situation where a strap somewhat trips you up, it is a breeze to disconnect and be untethered. As I get used to the tilt screen on my mirrorless camera, I have decided that I like to be strapless for low angle shots of shorebirds and whatnot, so off goes the strap, and when I'm finished, click, click, back on my shoulder! The option to switch from free sliding to non-slip is innovative, and the adjustment buckles are very handy as well. I pondered over some of the other big names in the industry, but as I was ordering a ProMediaGear bracket anyway, it pushed me over center to give this Peak Design version a try. I like it for all the reasons mentioned, in addition to the comfort it provides over those silly factory "walking advertisement" straps that you get from the manufacturer. I don't have much experience with new and improved straps, but I could not be happier with this strap!

Best of the best, like PMG

As with many photographers, I have and have used many camera straps, including Black Rapid. The Peak Design SL-BK-3 is by far superior to all of those. Like PMG, it is clearly made to be the highest quality. ( I am particularly enjoying its width which is so gentle on my shoulder, making straps such an important accessory.) Coupling the strap with the PMG SS2P1 plug connector makes for an unbeatable combination. I won't leave home without it.
