Overview

The 8Sinn accessory set for the RED® V-Raptor includes a top plate and two versatile side plates, all designed to expand mounting options while preserving the camera’s safety and functionality.

The 8Sinn Top Plate is a low-profile design featuring 1/4" and 3/8" ARRI-standard threaded openings across its surface. This allows seamless attachment of accessories such as NATO rails, handles, monitor mounts, and more. It installs with four screws and can be mounted facing either the front or the back of the camera, depending on your setup. The top plate makes contact with the camera body only at the screw points, preventing unwanted wear and ensuring proper air circulation around the camera.

The set also includes the reversible 8Sinn Right Side Plate, a plate that can be mounted on either side of the RED® V-Raptor using two screws. Like the top plate, it only touches the camera at the screw points, reducing the risk of scratches or heat buildup. It features both 1/4" and 3/8" ARRI-locating threads for attaching a variety of accessories.

Completing the set is the 8Sinn Left Side Plate, made of lightweight air-aluminum and designed specifically for the RED® V-Raptor. It provides additional 1/4" and 3/8" ARRI-standard mounting points without obstructing vents or limiting access to ports, plugs, inputs, or outputs. For added versatility, any 3/8" threaded opening on the plates can be easily converted to 1/4" using a reduction screw available separately.

Together, these components form an expandable mounting solution that enhances the RED® V-Raptor’s functionality while protecting its structure and airflow.
