Frequently Asked Questions
If you own the drop in flilter EF to RF adapter like I do then you have to decide which is more importnt to access, the drop in filter or the ports and jacks on the side of the camera. You can't do both at the same time when the bracket is attached to the camera. I adjusted the vertical piece so I had easy access to the drop in fliters. Currently I use those more. A small hindrance until I obtain some native RF lenses. Otherwise it seems and feels like a well made, fully adjustable, quality product. I am happy I bought it. It doesn't deserve a 5 star review though until I update my lenses.
What to say? 50 bucks or so cheaper. You can actually use the full screen articulation. Has a cold shoe. Doesn't block side ports. Build like a brick. Case closed,
The PLCBGR10 is an excellent product. Precision in every aspect. This grip is a must if you rely on the articulating screen. Its unconventional design allows you to use the articulating screen in any direction fully. The traditional grips restrict the movement of the screen.
The design does make it bigger, and the initial feeling is that it's big, but after just one day of using it and I got used to it, I even found the vertical side of the grip to be convenient for holding up the camera.
I am so happy with this item. It is so versatile and usable. This ProMediaGear "L" bracket hugs my camera battery grip like nothing I can think of, to ensure a) it does not damage any part of my equipment and b) to fit so snugly that it sits perfectly on my R6 battery grip. I just love the item. I have tried a few "L" brackets and was never completely happy with them but this one from ProMediaGear is just amazing. I love it.
Absolutely the best. Bought for a 24mm tilt shift lens. Well built. Bought 2, this one for Canon eos r5 with battery grip. One for Canon 5dsr, no battery grip. Both exceeded my expectations.
