Overview

The ProMediaGear C60 Arca-Type Compatible Quick Release Clamp lets you use an Arca-type quick-release plate on any tripod or support device.

It comes with a steel bushing that works with a 1/4"-20 mount, which you can also take out for M6 countersunk screw mounts.

The clamp's locking knob makes it easy to attach or detach the plate. It also has a 60mm center finder ruler and a built-in bubble level to help you position the plate correctly.

The clamp is made of aluminum alloy, so it is durable and lightweight.

What is the difference between the C60 and C40 clamp?

The C60 clamp is 60mm wide while the C40 clamp is 40mm wide. Both work great for securing Arca-plates to your tripod or monopod.

Is the C60 better than the C40 clamp?

It depends on the usage. The C60 clamp is designed for Arca-swiss plates that are 1.5 inches wide.

How many turns of the knob are necessary to release a plate from the clamp?

To loosen the plate to have it slide out to the side it takes about 1/8-1/4 turn. To remove the plate vertically it takes 1 and 5/8 turns.

What is the height or thickness of this clamp?

The clamp body is 0.42 inches thick, with the jaws it's 0.60 inches thick.
